Gyms & Fitness Facilities
Myrtleford has two gyms – Forme Fitness and Headstrong Health & Fitness – that have weightlifting and fitness equipment, personal trainers and bootcamps.
The authentic grass tennis courts of the Myrtleford Lawn Tennis Club – located right in the centre of town – are a testament to Myrtleford's long love of tennis, with the first club match played way back in 1897. Visitors are welcome to hire one of the club's nine grass courts. The club house and bar can also be hired for events. Bookings essential.
The Myrtleford Bowls Club, in Lewis Avenue in the “old policeman’s paddock”, claims to be the friendliest club in the region, and it could be right. The club welcomes visitors and runs regular competitions, social games and barefoot bowls. It has two grass greens and a modern, licensed club room, which is available for hire.

Open between November and April each year, the Myrtleford Swimming Pool has three outdoor chlorinated pools: a toddler pool, intermediate pool and a 25m main pool. Find it on Standish Street, Myrtleford.
Always an enjoyable day out drawing a big local crowd, catch an authentic game of country footy or netball at McNamara Reserve, Myrtleford, when the Alpine Saints take on the teams of the Ovens & Murray Football Netball League (OMFNL). Fixtures available on the OMFNL website during the season.
Enjoy a day of country cricket with the Ovens Valley Cricket Club. The club plays a number of local games each year in Myrtleford, Whorouly, Bright and Harrietville. Game fixtures are available during the season.
Come watch the talented teams of the Savoy Soccer Club play on home turf at Savoy Park, Myrtleford. Located behind Club Savoy – which has been the heart of the town's Italian community since 1956 – the club fields a number of mens, womens, boys and girls teams in the Albury Wodonga Football Association (AWFA) competition. Fixtures available on the AWFA website during the season.
